St Jerome’s VIP ticket winner shares her day!

Our very excited MINI customer, Sally, who won VIP tickets to St Jerome’s shares her day on the green!

“Fun drive across the bridge in my MINI cooper, brought back great memories of MINI AUnited. Got to the new site, parked no problem – very excited!  No lines, (lovely) and scoped out the new site. Went and said hello to the MINI display and promo girls, who were giving out Laneway Loves CD, which is now on constant rotation.

Drooled over the Space Invader wrap on the MINI, the girls were telling me its from The Cool Hunter and that Col Crawford can sort me out if I want to get it onto my MINI…now the hard bit choosing between Space Invaders or Pacman…hmmm

The warm-up bands started playing, but first things first – lets go and check out the VIP area. So proud to handover my VIP car – “friend of MINI” – may have gushed a bit much about how much I love my MINI, but they still let me in.

Had a great time in the VIP area, pretending to be someone important,  until started looking for real celebs. Found some fellow MINIiacs, and of course exchanged MINI stats (mine: Cooper chili, red, white bonnet stripes)

There were so many good acts to see, I felt like I was torn in so many directions. But I caught all my favourites – Mumford & sons,  Forence and the machine, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, The XX and Sarah Blasko. Awesome awesome line-up!

The new venue is a winner, albeit with a few teething problems, (more toilets and food please) but I am sure they will iron them out next year. Can I win next year, please, pretty please??
