The Winners Are … 2016 BMW Golf Cup was a HUGE Success!

BMW Golf Cup International Tournament – The largest international tournament series for amateur golfers. The BMW Golf Cup International traces its roots back more than a quarter century ago to a British based initiative, called the BMW Invitation Tournament.

This Tournament was only hosted in the UK for five years before expanding to Germany. Ten years after its inception, the BMW Invitation Tournament was renamed the BMW Golf Cup International and became an international competition for amateur golfers. Today, with more than 100 000 amateur participants, from more than 46 nations, the BMW Golf Cup International is the most renowned and largest amateur golf tournament in the world. Qualifying tournaments in the respective nations pave the road to the once in a lifetime experience, competing in the prestigious and coveted BMW Golf Cup International World Final.

Col Crawford BMW had a field of 90 enthusiastic players in the 2017 Qualifying Round, followed by an informal presentation dinner, which was held at Cromer Golf Club last week.  Our golfers enjoyed a fabulous 23 degree day, with blue skies and sunshine….but the 30km winds, certainly proved to be a challenge as the afternoon went on!  The tournament was played on an Individual Stableford format, with three handicap categories:
