The Narrabeen Service department of Col Crawford Lifestyle Cars is seeking a Workshop Controller to plan, direct, monitor and control all activities of workshop. This role will suit a technician who has experience in a similar position within a dealership or a senior technician looking for the next challenge in their career.

We are looking to grow this arm of our business and we need someone that is business savvy and can motivate and lead a team to achieve productivity targets. You will need to have experience managing a team, excellent communication skills, trade qualifications and a strong background in servicing vehicles. This role works closely with our service advisors and on occasion you will be required to deal with customers.

• Duties include (not limited to):
• Supervising technicians to ensure productivity and quality targets are achieved.
  
• Supervise technicians & apprentices in the carrying our of repair order instructions.
  
• Assist with any complications arising from any productive staff in the carrying out of repair order instructions.
  
• Advise technical staff on service concerns.
  
• Oversee the OHS procedures & ensure staff compliance.
  
• Give mechanical assistance and carry out repairs as necessary.
  
• Road test and check off vehicles and items as listed on job sheet and sign off when inspection passed. Stop any delivery of non-conforming vehicles.
  
• Control workshop scheduling and completing associated administration.
  

Remuneration will include salary + super + commission and is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
