Sponsorship

Col Crawford Motors support and work with a number of charity organisations, which began during the 1970's.

Mr Crawford became very active in the Rotary movement and became the District Governor for the Rotary District. The annual Charity Fair Day saw the dealership close trading operations for one day of the year and invite the community and local charities to come onto the premises for "Charity Day' in which money and awareness was raised for local charity organisations.

Col Crawford 's have been affiliated with Cerebral Palsy Alliance formally The Spastic Centre since 1983 and throughout this time we have raised close to $3 million. We hosted the annual Col Crawford Charity Golf Day for 30 years. In 2013 we decided that this would be the last charity golf event, and we now support this great organisation with other exciting fundraising events, the annual 20/Twenty Challenge Event being one of them. In 2016 the event raised over $640,000 which will help to purchase over 200 pieces of life-changing mobility and communication equipment! This result would not be possible without the energy the 44 teams put into fundraising. The generosity and support we received from our customers, friends and companies we do business with was greatly appreciated and overwhelming. Further, Col Crawford’s (Team Crawford) was the 2nd highest team in the fundraising stakes and Steve Crawford was personally awarded the ‘Alex Graham Fundraising Award’ for the highest, single fundraiser.

We are also proud of our long association with Warringah Rugby Club, located locally at Rat Park, Narrabeen. With a passion for Rugby dating back to his many years playing for Warringah, Stephen Crawford said he couldn't think of a local sporting club he would want to support more, "There is obviously a soft spot for Warringah Rugby and I am thrilled for the company to support the club in its endeavours to encourage our young people to lead active, sporting lifestyles. The camaraderie of being in a team environment with a common goal to succeed these are some of the aspects of the game I enjoyed so much and see in my own sons playing junior rugby today".
